Joe oversees asset management, development, and acquisition for Pendulum’s San Diego division. Joe brings nearly 30 years of commercial real estate expertise to Pendulum.
From 2003 to 2018 Joe oversaw development, leasing, marketing and asset management of 350-acre former Naval Training Center, now known as Liberty Station, a mixed-use community in San Diego. He deployed expertise in marketing, office and retail leasing, lender and equity partner interface, adaptive reuse of historic buildings, office, hotel and retail development.
Having earned the MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute, Joe spent the first 13 years of his career involved in complex valuation assignments including: office; retail; hotel; apartment, vacant land of varying property types, eminent domain; and expert witness testimony.
Joe graduated from California State University, Northridge earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and Real Estate. In his free time, Joe enjoys motorcycling and snow skiing.
Joe is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and honorably served for 12 years.
